Wonderful food in a spectacular setting

Directions: Take the Faro bus from Anacapri. It is a 10 minute bus ride and then a 10 minute walk from the bus stop.

Lido del Faro was the best lunch we had on the Amalfi coast in the most spectacular setting. Perched on the water under the Faro lighthouse, the view will take your breath away. That the food was also excellent was an added bonus. On a late September Tuesday afternoon, we were able to walk in without a reservation. We started with our usual insalata mista and caprese, both very good with a house vino rosso that was also good. I had an excellent spaghetti vongole and my husband had a wonderful pasta puttanesca. Highly recommended for both the food and the to die for views. Wouldn't think of going back to Anacapri without a meal here!
