Directions: Directly across the street from Teatro Politeamo in Via Liberta neighborhood. The two of us ate here two of our nights in Palermo because of the excellent food and formal but welcoming service. Swordfish (grilled or roulade), a beautiful and tasty risotto with fragolini (tiny spring strawberries) and pistacchios, and a pistacchio cream cake were among our favorites. The cart loaded with fresh fish prepared to order and priced by the etto was very tempting--next time! For two, we paid about 60 euros for a bottle of wine, two primi, two secondi, and a shared dessert. Reservations a must--many potential diners were turned away each night.
