Via Fiori Chiara is a pedestrian-only street filled with restaurants and upper-scale shops in the Brera area and is worth a trip in itself. Nabucca specializes in Milanese cuisine with numerous veal dishes and authentic risotto Milanese, and is considered by many to be one of Milan's top restaurants. We enjoyed insalata caprese, two risotto with porcini mushrooms (which we should have shared), and one branzino with thyme, and a bottle of local white wine. Our friends enjoyed a fabulous antipasto of prosciutto and melon. We were each poured a glass of Prosecco before seeing the menu, and then were charged for it. Still, it was a nice gesture and we enjoyed the wine. This is a moderately expensive restaurant with excellent food. Reservations are a must.
