Good seafood, plenty of locals.

We intended to do a strolling cichetti dinner, but after walking around in the rain for a while we decided to stay here at our first stop near the fish market for the full meal. We split an antipasti misti platter that included mussels, octopus and celery salad, baccala montecato (like brandade, a whipped dried cod spread), snails, shrimp, sarde in saor, and a couple other unidentifiable fishy things.

Everything was very fresh and tasted great. We then ordered pasta - a not so great spaghetti all’ amatriciana and a spaghetti special with mushrooms and scampi (the very large shrimp-like langoustines, more like mini lobsters) - we couldn't quite figure out how to get all the meat out of them! We split a side dish of grilled veggies that included eggplant, asparagus, tomatoes, peppers, etc. We drank a half-liter of the house red which was just ok. Total cost for 2 = 42 euros.

Overall, the seafood antipasti dish was the highlight of the meal and I'd probably stick to seafood dishes for future visits. It was a fun place, with plenty of locals at the early evening hour when we went - including an older man who appeared to be the (very convivial) neighborhood drunk. :)
