Friendly, inexpensive pizzeria

Directions: Under the porticos near the Largo Emanuele and GAM, west of the Porta Nuova train station

We had a better experience with pizza here.

I began with an order of fried anchovies. These tasty morsels were served overflowing from a paper cone along with the most delicious deep fried shreds of zucchini.

We shared one pizza with sausage and local greens. The crust was thin and chewy. Unfortunately the greens were cooked and not freshly strewn on top so Jane did not really care for the dish.

With water, a beer, and a half carafe of white wine our bill was 30 euro.
