The people that run this 'steak house' should be ashamed of themselves. This is what happens when 'no one is home and no one cares'. I was served the most horrible piece of meat ever and they blamed me for not liking donkey. The pizza is OK, maybe. There are many other good places in town that you can enjoy. For casual dining, an interesting variety of characters in the kitchen and dining area, and a good choice of meat dishes and contorni, this place is hard to beat. While they do have outside dining, it is on a busy main thoroughfare and a bit of a squeeze, not all that pleasant, but the action's all inside anyway. Fez is outgoing and friendly, Mauro never speaks, one of the waitresses is just a tad bossy and another remembers your name. Add to that the delicious lunch special and it's a place you will want to return to. This review is the opinion of a Slow Travel member and not of slowtrav.com. |
