A pleasant surprise with good pizza and friendly service

This is a small, very informal restaurant and pizzeria. There were two of us. We had two pizzas, a bottle of chianti, mineral and tonic water, and coffee. The bill came to €40, with service included. (It would have been cheaper if we had house wine instead of a bottle). The pizzas were very, very good.

No reservations and the place filled up fast for dinner. People sitting around us were eating pasta, grilled fish - "piatti tipici Veneziani" - and they appeared to be happy with their food, too. The couple next to us said their pastas were good.
