We had a nice lunch here but not noteworthy. I had a salami platter for antipasti which was quite large and good; but the rest of the meal was rather ordinary.

Directions: on the road between San Casciano VP and Mercatale

Having noticed this attractive roadside restaurant in a rather isolated position, we were anxious to give it a try so stopped for lunch. There is a very nice interior dining room and a nice outside veranda. On the weekend there is live piano music, not sure what kind.

We found the food to be rather uninspiring-and quite forgettable as I now can not remember what we had. I have a hunch that it might be better for dinner but doubt that we will go back to find out.
