Wonderful restaurant in a delightful town in southern Tuscany. Expensive. Great food, great service, beautiful restaurant. We go here on each trip.

Directions: On the main piazza at the edge of the historic part of town. You can park on this piazza across from the restaurant.

Fall 2000: We had a very good Sunday lunch here. They serve fish dishes. They have a fabulous bar attached to the restaurant where they also sell newspapers and magazines. They carry the International Herald Tribune and Wall Street Journal Europe. Also good pastries for breakfast. We went to this caffe many times while we were staying at Celle sul Rigo.

Fall 2001: We met Mare and Bruce, other Slow Travelers, here for Sunday lunch on a cold, rainy day. Again the food was excellent.

September 2002: They have outdoor seating now! Several tables outside the restaurant, on the edge of the piazza, under big umbrellas. We had a lovely Sunday lunch here, sitting outside.
