Probably the best restaurant I have ever eaten in (and that is a lot). Luigi is a first class chef. Anyone travelling south of Padua should look for ths one.

We stayed in an agriturismo across the street from this wonderful restaurant. More about our terrific accommodations later.

The food was superb. The Chef and host, Luigi, was trained in Brazil. The subtlety of the flavours of his offerings was awe-inspiring. He does lunch and has a large local clientele for a small area. The dinner menu, however, is terrific. The fresh fish and veal offerings were exquisite. He is not set in concrete about Primo Platti and Secondi and is very accommodating to North American eating styles.

I can't say enough good things about this place. It is worth a return trip to the area. And of course the house where Petrarch lived is just up the road so Life Is Wonderful!!!
