A lovely restaurant along the docks in Porto Ercole. Recommended in the Cadogan guide.

We had dinner here on our 1997 trip and again on our 2000 trip. The food is excellent; Steve loved the mixed grilled fish and they made a special vegetarian dish for me. It is sometimes hard to find vegetarian meals in Italian seaside towns; they specialize in fish and frequently all their dishes have either fish or meat.

They have a large balcony with outdoor seating where you look across to the pretty dock area.
