Directions: This is the main piazza of Greve--can't miss it. Greve does not really have fine dining or outstanding restaurants, but for simple food that is tasty and well-prepared we enjoy Il Portico. They usually have specials of the day along with their regular menu; either is fine. The menu is basic Chianti Tuscan offerings. Fish on Friday and Saturday is usually quite good. We also like their pomodoro bruschetta. Ken had Roast Beef alla Chianti last week that was exceptionally good - thin slices of rare meat, not the usual thin sliced steak. We also enjoy the pasta dishes.
