Directions: Just off the main piazza We arrived at the restaurant with friends who we were traveling with that week; it was a perfect evening away from the kids. Upon seating we were promptly presented with a glass of prossecco and also given a complimentary appetizer of tomato and bread soup, very good, very unsoup-like. Our waiter went through the Italian menu in his best english and described everything with passion, I think he may have been the owner. For an appetizer I had a parmesan flan over arugula, it was melt in your mouth amazing! Frank had a liver mousse which was tremendous and I'm so not a liver fan! For the main course I had chicken with funghi porcini and it was fantastic! All portions were on the large side. Dinner for 4 adults with 2 bottles of wine 150 Euro. Directions: It's on the main street through town. The restaurant's name means Art & Wine. The paintings on the walls are for sale. This is a tiny restaurant, so reserve. I've dined there twice in two different years. The cream of chestnut soup in November 2000 was memorable but probably is available only at chestnut harvest time. On my most recent visit, I had excellent strozzipreti with beet sauce. My companion had agnoletti with parmigiana sauce and said it was divine. For secondi, I had lamb in parchment that was too salty for my taste, but that's a risk anywhere in Italy; my companion had a spicy beef stew. Moderately expensive.
