Prices a bit high, but it's a very pleasant place.

Directions: On main road from Tavarnelle exit off Autosdrada, going up to Tavarnelle. Hamlet called Romita.

This seems to be the place where local families go for Saturday lunch. Very rich ragu on penne the kids loved, and wonderful stew of wild boar with mushrooms. A delicious platter of mixed antipasto had fried sage leaves, polenta, 2 spreads for crostini, and several salamis.
