Delicious food and extremely friendly service.

Directions: Walk through the little alleyway next to the cafe on the main piazza.

The menu may be recited here, and your server will spend lots of time discussing your options. At Sunday lunch, the whole town seemed to be there table-hopping. We went twice during our week, and everything was well prepared. We particularly enjoyed a zucchini lasagnette; a plate of mixed crostini; little suppli (fried rice and vegetable fritters); pici with ragu; and a stew of cinghiale. I'd call the prices low to moderate.

Excellent food and service in a nice local restaurant.

Directions: Park in the main piazza. It is down an alley beside the caffe.

We loved this restaurant. It was recommended by Sacha and Beppe (who owned the vacation rental we were in from TuscanHouse) and by Tom from CA (Goldengate on the message board) who ate here the year before. It is in a small alley off the main piazza. You enter in to a small restaurant area - maybe 10 tables. The kitchen is off here. It wasn't until our second time eating there, when I went downstairs to find the restrooms, that I realized there is outdoor seating and a large dining room downstairs.

We sat upstairs both times. The owner is very present in the restaurant - he takes the reservations and does some of the serving and cooking. The service was excellent and the food was excellent.

This was a cozy little place tucked away in a small alley way. The food and the wine were very good.
