We picked this pleasant lunch spot from among the many restaurants in Bergamo's Alta Citta based on its posted fixed price menu. As was often the case we were only presented with an a la carte lunch menu. However the dishes we were interested in were still available. We ate outside in the warm late October sun. We began by sharing an antipasto of crostano lardo aglio & peperoncino. Essentially bruschetta with slices of a very flavorful lardo. Jane enjoyed her pasta dish of casconelli, a local version of ravioli. And I had a dish of delicious stewed baccala on polenta. With water and a bottle of local white wine the bill was 65 euros.
