Out of the way restaurant with great atmosphere and good food.

Directions: Coming from Alba, drive through Neive and turn right off the main road so you are driving by the train station. Stay on this road and follow the signs to Bricco. This is kind of a narrow, winding road, but you will not see much traffic.

This is not a restaurant you would see as you were driving by because it is in a remote location. The owner's of our apartment recommended it and gave us directions to find it. It's in an old schoolhouse, and the dining area is probably one of the old school rooms. However, it has been converted to a very beautiful dining room complete with chandeliers and a fireplace. The husband does the cooking and the wife serves the food.

We were given a glass of sparling white wine and a small antipasti as we looked over the menu. Although most of the other customers ordered the complete menu, it was just too much food for us. However, all that we ordered was beautifully presented and prepared. After the meal, we were given a plate of small pastries and dried fruit dipped in chocolate. We each had a primi and a secondi with a bottle of wine, and the bill was 43 euro. Recommended.
