A very nice rosticceria convenient to Piazza S. M. Novella, Ognissanti, and Via Tornabuoni.

Located not far from Piazza S.M. Novella, this place was a rosticceria in front, with some wonderful looking roasts in the case, and a small restaurant in the back.

Customers seemed to be mostly locals. The gnocchi with butter and sage was light and delicious though it didn’t have as much sage as I would have preferred. The scallopine di maiale con finocchio selvatico (wild fennel) was outstanding, cooked in a sauce with both fennel bulb and seeds and served with a side of peas. Lunch for one with wine and water cost €24.
