Very pleasant restaurant in the Avalon Spa - convenient before or after the Grotto Gigante.

Directions: Take the right fork on the road to the Grotto Gigante from the bus stop on the highway (1/3 mile)

The three of us had a very pleasant lunch here before our visit to the grotto Gigante. It is an easy walk (and well marked) from the bus stop. The ride on bus # 42 (from the train station or Piazza Oberdan) is a hair raising experience in itself.

This very attractive restaurant is in the Avalon health Spa. There are no menus.

We enjoyed Gnocchi, lasagne, and polpetti (meat balls in pastry).

With water, red wine, a coffee and grappa the bill was 50 euro.
