Beachfront restaurant in Amalfi with outdoor dining. Can't beat the view, and the food was pretty good too!

Directions: Located right on the waterfront in Amalfi

We walked down the cliff from Ravello to Amalfi and settled on the Stella Maris for our lunch destination. It's right on the beach in Amalfi and very colorful with bright orange awnings and blue tablecloths and that beautiful blue sea! There was a masted sailboat just off the coast. We sat outside on the terrace, next to an American couple on their honeymoon.

Charley and I shared a big caprese salad (very ripe tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella tied in some sort of knot). Charley and Kelly shared pasta bolognaise and pizza. I had a good pasta dish with bacon and tomatoes. Charley and I had big, very cold beers. It was just what we were looking for. We decided that life doesn't get much better than this!

The meal for the three of us was €48.
