Centrally located, indoor and outoor dining. Great pizzas and salads for lunch.

Directions: Duomo area or Piazza Signoria. Its about mid-way between.

Look for the coat of armour outside the door. We sat indoors at lunch in front of the fans (during the summer 2005 heat wave) and watched the preparation of our pizzas. The beers were large and cold and it was a very pleasant lunch. Our 13 yr old son took a chance (tiring of pizza) and ordered Entrecotto Insalata, which turned out to be very tender, rare slices of beef over arugula and topped with parmesan shavings. The salad was drizzled with the thickest, sweetest balsamic sauce we had ever tasted. We had to threaten and bribe him to give up even little tastes; it truly was divine! I had an unusual Insalata Fantasia with lettuce, apples, walnuts and parmesan. The pizzas and salads were both very large (and good). For 2 pizzas, one insalata, the Entrecotto, a Formaggi Misti, 2 birre grande, 2 cokes, acqua and cover charge, our family of 4 paid 57 euro.
