€59.50 dinner for two with wine. The room is lovely: orange walls, green damask cloth and napkins and a silver candlestick entwined with a fresh rose. There is also a nice patio area but it was too cool to sit outside. There were other folks there when we came in at 8:30 and people continued to come in all evening. We suspected we were ordering too much as portions are large but it was Michael's birthday, what the heck! We had crespelle con zucchini & gamberetti, and gnocchi zucca con ricotta affumicata. Fabulous. I had calamari ai fuori and M had the mixed fish grill. We had seen the fresh fish trucks on the piazza in the morning so felt pretty sure it would all be fresh. Fresh it was, and very plentiful, served with nicely sliced penny sized roasted potatoes and a small portion of contorni. We accompanied our dinner with a bottle of house tocai. We could have easily shared dishes. This review is the opinion of a Slow Travel member and not of slowtrav.com. |
