A handy place for a quick lunch just below the Piazza della Cisterna.

Directions: Just before the top of Via San Giovanni, on the left.

A charming place to have lunch in the middle of a San Gimignano shopping spree. Via San Giovanni is one of the two main streets of the town, (Via San Matteo is the other) and it is full of artisan’s stores and handbag shops.

We stopped in for a pasta lunch there one day and found the ambience and the service very enjoyable. It has very reasonable prices. It is up the top of the street as you approach the Piazza della Cisterna, and on the left.
