Pleasant trattoria right on the main piazza

Directions: Near the fountain

We ate lunch at this trattoria twice on our recent visit to Assisi. Lunch for 6, including a 1/2 liter of wine and coperto, was €85 one time; a bit higher the 2nd time because of 4 orders of steak! Pasta about €7-8; steak about €10.

Everything was very fresh; the pastas were tasty; the steaks tender and juicy. My son ordered BBQ both times (it's really just a grilled steak - no BBQ sauce!) and my husband and I shared steak with balsamic vinegar dressing (yum!). Not super fancy - just good solid food. Would definitely go back again!
