Directions: off via Farini Tribunale is very well known, listed in Osterie d'Italia, and we loved it. By the time we got there, we were getting overwhelmed with ham and salami -- there were plenty of alternatives here. My husband had a fantastic dish of whole wheat pasta with asparagus and porcini sauce, which to me, was the best of the evening. We also ate gnocchi with eggplant in a light red sauce, traditional tortelli stuffed with potatoes and butter sauce, grilled veggies, great sausage and roasted potatoes. Insalata rustica had wonderful lettuces and lots of pancetta. We drank a €16 bottle of Barbera from the list. The dessert sampler was a real treat and it included a granny smith granita which was totally refreshing and wonderful. This review is the opinion of a Slow Travel member and not of slowtrav.com. |
