Directions: On the main street in town, towards the upper part of the city 
This is a true "neighborhood" restaurant where the husband is the host and waiter and the wife is the chef. There are no more than six or eight tables and the decor is simple country inn. The menu, printed in English, German, French, Arabic, and Japanese as well as Italian, is quite extensive, and there is something for everyone including vegetarians. The food and cooking is uncomplicated, fresh, and very pleasant. The house wine is more than adequate, and portions are large enough for sampling by three or four people or ample for a single person. The bistecca fiorentina is huge, and we watched a party of two German couples make the mistake of ordering one each (one portion would easily serve two or three). The restaurant also has several outside benches that people used for mid-day meals, but to my recollection I did not see these used at night. I don't recall exact prices, but do remember that it was less expensive than many other places in town, including Ai Quattro Venti and certainly Le Logge del Vignola. It is a place you can go back to without "breaking the bank," and we never found it necessary to even try to make reservations.
