Beautiful medieval interior, fine service, hearty rustic cuisine. Definitely eat here.
We really loved our dinner here. The pastas are all fresh, homemade. I had a delicious bruschetta arrangement, and my husband had a very hearty spinach spelt soup. BIL really loved his grilled bistecca. I highly recommend the pici, which is thick long strands of pasta. Servers were friendly; the whole atmosphere was so conducive to having a relaxed and warming meal.

Nice place for lunch.
Directions: Tucked on a little alley just off the piazza
Friends recommended this place for lunch after their visit to Cortona. We sat outside in a little alley and out of the sun. It was reasonably priced.
We had a bottle of local vergine white, 2 liters of water, and 2 Cokes. I had a braseola (dried beef) and arugula salad. Alex had pici pomodoro - big serving! Stephanie had gnocchi pomodoro. Rex had a very good tagliatelle gorgonzola that was very good. I had gnocchi of ricotta and spinach with a truffle sauce. They were very light dumplings (almost like a filling) with a rich sauce - very good. With 2 espressos, total was about €52.
