Very good Umbria food in Spoleto. Nice garden dining in warm weather.

Typical Umbrian offering, but very good. Nice patio for dining in warmer weather. Two of us ate a 3 course meal and wine (vino della casa) for about 65 euros so a bit more expensive than a lot of places in the area.

Simple but surrounded by ancient walls/trees. Good home cooking.

Directions: Not far from Piazza Torre del Olio

The trattoria is rather simple, but it sits in a nice yard surrounded by ancient walls and trees. We had good grilled meat (pork and beef) with sautéed bitter greens. Good home cooking. Service was friendly and efficient. We liked it.
