Lovely authentic trattoria
2 glasses of prosecco. Antipasto (Mixed meats). Tagliatelle ragu. Tortelellini with burro e salvia. Litre of house sangiovese. fizzy waters. 2 cafes. coperto. All for 54 euros. This is a sweet little restaurant, with traditional Bolognese food. It was our first Emilia-Romagna dinner, and though we eventually had more interesting food, this was a fantastic introduction to the region. Very small and obviously lots of people from the neighborhood.

Delightful, family-run, old-style trattoria serving mostly moderately priced meat dishes.
Directions: Just off the Via dell'Independenza.
Three of us ate two dinners here in October 2007. This is a thoroughly enjoyable old fashioned family run trattoria. Dishes are mostly meat based and Bolognese.
On the first night a mixed antipasto plate was more than enough for the three of us. This was followed by delicious lasagne, roast rabbit, and Milanese cottolette.
With water and a bottle of Lambrusco this meal cost us 52 euro.
On the second visit we again shared the mixed antipasto plate and a passitelli in brodo. Two of us repeated the delicious cottolette and the other had roast lamb.
With a bottle of sangiovese and panna cotta and grappa the bill was 83 euro.
This restaurant is extremely popular with locals so reservations are well advised unless you arrive very early.
