Fabulous food, wine and a bargain.

Directions: Driving towards Orbetello from the "mainland" go through the city gate (large stone arch). There is a park just past the gate. Park at Piazza Mario Cortese.

We were trying to get to another restaurant when we stumbled on this place -- which was one of the major finds of our trip!! Good house wine, food was served quite promptly. This is a casual place with mostly outdoor tables. We went here two times we liked it so much. 30-40 euros for a complete lunch for two with water and wine. Tagliatelle al funghi-wow! Spezzatino al morelino -- fabulous stew in Morellino wine, ravioli with basil.

Do not miss this place if you are in the Maremma.
