Good local Trattoria; reasonable prices.

This neighbourhood trattoria serves good local food at a reasonable price. The three of us, on two visits, had excellent pasta, carpaccio of beef with mixed vegetables and also grilled sea bream and roast pork. House wine in carafe was cheap and good.

Service by the very pleasant Scottish waitress was helpful and efficient.

Cost per person for two courses and wine was €20 approx. We would recommend it wholeheartedly.

Typical trattoria with good vegetable dishes and Lucchesi wines

It looks like a typical country Tuscan trattoria. We had excellent barley risotto, good zuppa di faro and parmigiana eggplant (there are more vegetable dishes on the menu).

The restaurant prides itself on serving wines from Lucchesi hills. The one (white) served as the house wine was pleasant. The whole meal was good value. But our waiter gazing intensly at our table from a short distance made us nervous and a manager (or an owner) watching tv in the adjacent room spoiled the otherwise nice atmosphere of the place.
