On our initial visit to Yodo's in Maser, near Palladio's Villa Barbaro, five of us had a wonderful meal (average price of 35 euros each including prosecco, a nice bottle of wine, primi, secondi, dolce, and coffee). The food and service were excellent. On the second visit my wife and I had an even better meal for about 30 euros each. My wife had millefoglie di grana con porcini, zucchine e crudo di Parma for a primi. Amazingly good. I had gnocchi with basil and cherry tomatoes. It was absolutely delicious. The secondi were equally fantastic. I had a filet with a balsamic vinegar marinade and my wife had pork alla frutta secca in camicia. Absolutely wonderful. Yodo's is an osteria, very nice, but not a ristorante. However, after having eaten in many areas of Italy during living there for several months during the past few years, I rate Yodo's among the best.
