We had seen this pizzeria on our previous trip near our hotel. Then we had read about it in "Food Wine Rome" by David Downie. We needed a close place to eat on our second night in Rome as we had hiked over to, around, and back from the Colosseum and Palatine hill. It was close to our hotel, about 100-150 ft. The place was full but we were seated right away near the door. We ordered two Margherita pizzas, one salsiccia pizza, one calzone, two quarter liters red wine, and one aqua naturale for four people (38.50 euros.) The Margherita pizzas were good. We believe the salsiccia pizza gave our sister food poisoning. Would eat here again but would not order the salsiccia pizza.
