Murisengo: Café della Fontana

Via Umberto I, 97 , Phone: 346 5352545

Reviewed by: Amy from MA, review #4088

When: 2013

Cozy little cafe with homemade pastas, nice vegetables, lovely desserts. Great place for lunch or an afternoon break.

Directions: On the main street, near the castello.

We were clued in to this place by a local resident. Michela offers just a few dishes a day, generally an antipasto or two, two pastas, and a secondo, plus several homemade desserts. I can particularly vouch for her light-as-air gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce. Desserts are also excellent, and there's nice wines by the bottle, carafe or glass. There are just a few tables, so go early for lunch.
