Praiano: La Strada

Via G. Capriglione,178 , Phone: 089.813048

This restaurant was about a 5 minute walk from our B&B. We ate here twice because the food was so good and lucky for us, we had the same waiter each visit.

There is seating on street level and also a open rooftop dining area that overlooks the sea, but there is a roof across the road that partially blocks the view. Romantic ambiance. Crisp white linen. This is where we first tried stuffed zucchini flowers. They were deep fried in a light crispy batter and stuffed with ricotta cheese and basil. Simple and delicious. The seafood was very good and although we didn't have any, you could pick your own live lobster. We tried some local wine - very good and we loved our waiter (Antonio). He was helpful and very friendly. Would surely go back to La Strada.
