Wonderful "wine cave" in Asti

This was a complete surprise. I took a day trip to Asti and ran into a couple of people who invited me to join them at Pompa Magna - a "wine cave" recommended by the owner of their agritourismo. It did not disappointment. The food was excellent, the ambiance lovely and the price point good. We got lucky and were the last to be served. It's fairly small, so if you know you want to go, I would recommend making a reservation. Enjoy!
