I actually thought this was one of the best meals of our trip! Let me tell you about the pasta. Malfatti were triangle shaped, sauced with cream, proscuitto and sage. Interesting that the sauce was so luxurious with the rustic style of pasta. The thick and hearty, pappardelle porca vacca style, was with guanciale and tomato sauce. We loved both but were totally stuffed by the time our Griglata di Maiale came. Thank goodness we shared it. On the platter was a big pork chop, a slab of pancetta, two ribs and some fantastic sausage. Also (it's a big platter) there were some potatoes, garlicky green beans, a bit of bitter salad and some cooked cichoria. We drank a bottle of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and the check was 38 euro.
