Directions: Just off Campo Santo Stefano, on the calle across from the church. Directions on web site. We ate two lunches and one dinner here. The food was quite good as was the service. It is a fairly small place so reservations would be a good idea. There is an adjoining bar area to the restaurant which had seats and served a variety of cichetti, many of which was fried as well as other appetizers. Our lunches were: Insalata mista and prosciutto e melone, tagliolini con astice e pomodoro and lasagna, water, two glasses of wine. Total 77€. Insalata mista and prosciutto e melone, spaghetti con vongole, cozze e pomodoro and lasagna, water, two glasses wine. Total 73€. Dinner was: Prosciutto e melone and mezzaluna (spinach & ricotta), Spaghetti al vongole and a mixed fried seafood platter, water, wine (44€) and 2 limoncellos. Total 144€. I made early dinner reservations for Trattoria da Fiore, as I was going to an evening concert. Dinner was excellent: Caprese - cherry tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella with basil and olive oil. I have to say it was the best mozzarella I've ever had. It was so creamy with a melt-in-your-mouth texture. The portion was large too. Next I had the lasagna Bolognese, which was very good, although the lasagna I had in Bologna was 'the' best. With ½ liter of white house wine, the bill came to 42 euros.
