Review by John from UK

2bed/1bath apartment near Piazza Navona, Rome

When

5-8 April, 2002, 3 days

Location

Heart of Rome, 2 mins from Piazza Navona and 5 from Campo dei Fiori.

Nearby Amenities

30 seconds to everything.

The House/Apartment

Superb with fresco in small alcove.

Garden

No outside area.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

Great, but why stay inside when Rome is just round the corner?

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

Yes but bathroom OK. I think my USA chums might find it a bit small but us Brits are used to that sort of thing. Very clean and functional.

Kitchen

Again but why cook when there are so many fine restaurants just round the corner. OK, there was a coffee maker and all facilities.

Problems or Bonuses

Security was excellent and Mauro who runs the company is a sorce of local info. He also picks you up from the airport which is great.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

Fantastic, great help with their good English and my bad Italian we got on fine.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

Yes, can't wait until next year. We were in Rome to see England play Italy at rugby. England doesn't play there for two years but we will return next year just to stay in the apartment and to enjoy Rome and maybe this time watch Ireland play Italy.

Things to do in this area

Can't remember which ones but the best ones are the ones with no tourists in. Explore the side streets and try the restaurants with lots of locals in.
