2bed/2bath apartment on an estate outside San Gimignano, Tuscany West WhenSeptember 2004, one week LocationOur rental was ideally located just outside of San Gimignano. The property is lovely, spotless, comfortable, and the views are picture-perfect. The owners are wonderful people: they are kind and generous and treat you like family. They made our stay so pleasant that we shall never forget their kindness. We have rented homes in Europe many times but this stay was made most enjoyable because of the wonderful owners. Nearby AmenitiesWe walked to the grocery store, restaurants, and to San Gimignano. The House/ApartmentThe building is in excellent shape and we had all of the privacy we needed. GardenWe had a lovely private garden with a sitting area. A pool was available but the weather was cool so we didn't utilize this ammenity. Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living AreasFurnishings are in good shape and comfortable and the rooms have pretty accessories. There were enough chairs for everyone in the living room and dining room. The house was spotless. Bedrooms/BathroomsThere are two comfortable bedrooms and two bathrooms. The four of us were very comfortable. KitchenGreat kitchen ... nice pots and we were able to cook many full meals. Problems or BonusesWe didn't encounter any problems with the property ... in fact, we were pleasantly surprised by the loving care the owners gave to the property. Agency and Representatives (and price)The agency 'La Bella Toscana' English speaking personnel were great. This agency is well organized and I would deal with them again and reccommend them to my family and friends. Our property was exactly how they described it in their brochure. Do you recommend this vacation rental to others? We would stay in La Magnolia again and would reccommend this property to my family and/or best friends. Kudos to the agency and the owners. Things to do in this areaThere are many good restaurants in the area. We travelled most of Chianti, and lots of Umbria. We especially liked Voltera, Castellina di Chianti, Florence (of course) San Gimignano, Assisi, Greve, and Gubbio ... Cortona was nice.
