The House/Apartment

The property at Fontarronco is a beautiful, working 300 yr old farm/orchard. The restoration work was well done, and all the comforts were present. A chef was brought in twice to cook a wonderful dinner for the guests.

Francesco is a wonderful person, who is very enthusiatic about providing the best stay possible. We have truely made a friend for life, and will continue to correspond with him. Beautiful countryside with breathtaking views of Tuscany. The property has been beautifully restored, with much care for authenticity.

Every unit has its own outside sitting area (porch and picnic table). There is a big pool with 5 jacuzzi jets.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

Rustic and nice furniture.

All bedrooms are qeen sized bed. Our unit Gostino had 2 bathrooms, shower and bath tub.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

Francesco is on site mornings and afternoons to give advice on nearby hill towns to visit, to make reservation at local restaurants, to give any other assistance needed or just to chat. He is most personable and knowledgeable and speaks fluent English, having done his graduate studies at Cambridge University.

Our one bedroom apartment, which slept three, cost 700 ($ 800) per week.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

This is our second visit to Foresteria, and will return again. It has become our "home" in Tuscany. We strongly recommend spending some time on this beautiful property.
