2bed/2bath apartment in Praiano, Campania

Location

The apartment is in a village called Praiano which is situated on the Amalfi Coast between Positano and Amalfi. The village is quite small (about 1,800 people) but is in an excellent location to explore the coast.

Nearby Amenities

Lots of amenities nearby, well within walking distance - groceries, restaurants, buses.

The House/Apartment

The apartment was very quiet - it is in a block of about 1/2 a dozen that are owner occupied.

Garden

There is a fantastic balcony which has a private garden. Past the garden you can see back to Positano and out to the Isle of Capri. Beautiful views of the coastline and sea.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

The furniture is best described as homely. It's what you'd expect to see in an Italian home. The apartment was very clean.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms of a good size. There were 2 bathrooms.

Kitchen

We didn't use the kitchen as much as we were going to as the restaurants were so good. But it was a good kitchen with lots of pots and pans and crockery.

Problems or Bonuses

One of our group (a child) had an appendicitis attack while we were there. The Agent we booked through went out of his way to ensure that a Doctor came quickly and then he took us to the hospital (a good 45 minute drive away) in case an interpreter was needed. He stayed virtually all day until things had been sorted out.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

The Agency we booked with were fantastic. Very trustworthy, honest and helpful.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

I would definitely stay here again. It's the perfect place for a family. The views are magnificent, the people who live in Praiano are friendly and helpful and the location is perfect for exploring the coast.

Things to do in this area

Favourite restaurant - La Strada.
