1bed/1bath apartment near Campo dei Fiori, Rome WhenMay 8 - 16, 2005, 1 week ReviewRome is Home is a wonderful apartment in the historic center of Rome, walking distance to many major cultural attractions. It is on a small street, near markets and transportation. It's one of those places that feels like a real "find," - you kind of hate to tell too many people about it, because it might not be available the next time you want to stay (wonderful for Massimo and Biancamaria, not so good for the fans of this apartment!). Massimo and Biancamaria personally welcomed us the afternoon of our stay, loaned us a spare cellphone, and called us regularly to make sure we were doing OK. Which we certainly were! Their apartment is modernized, but with a sense of history, very comfortable and very clean, in a wonderfully restored building. There are lots of thoughtful features. One could as easily stay for a month or two, as for a few days or a week. It was a great experience - a terrific start for our trip - and we truly do hope to return in the not too distant future.
