Location

Lovely area ... a walk from Montepulciano Stazionne and a short ride from Montepulciano. Located in a private location surrounded by trees.

Nearby Amenities

A few stores and restaurants within a mile and many others within several miles.

The House/Apartment

Peaceful and quiet. There were about 4 apartments and a separate self-contained house. Beautiful pool and pool area perfectly maintained.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

The apartment was very clean and kept in pristine condition. There were chairs for reading and a kitchen table with chairs. Quite comfortable. Our friends' aparment had a sofa.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

The bed was comfortable and had lovely linen with ample pillows and blankets, if needed. The bathroom was large with two sinks, a whirlpool bath and separate stall shower. Very good.

Kitchen

The kitchen was usable with enough supplies of all kinds. The fridge was stocked with basics when we arrived. We could have cooked but really didn't, other than breakfast.

Problems or Bonuses

The owners (who live in the main house) were so hospitable and you only had to ask if you needed something. We had heard this before but found it to be even moreso.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

We booked directly with Le Manzanaie and everything they said matched with the reality when we were there. We paid 489E for one week (May 14-21) 2005. 30% deposit is given upon booking on a credit card and the rest when you leave. There is also a security deposit that you must pay upon arrival in cash (@150E I think) and that is returned when you depart.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

I would heartily recommend this property. It is comfortable, well located, has hospitable owners and, overall, met our needs.

Things to do in this area

The owners will give you a personalized booklet of towns nearby with maps and information. We loved any restaurant we ate in and found the food to be top notch.
