4bed/2bath villa near Buonconvento, Tuscany South When2001 ReviewI rented the Villa dell'Amore in Tuscany through Zak at Tuscanhouse. The house is located three miles outside of Buonconvento on a well maitained dirt road. It is located on 25 acres with no close neighbors and LOTS of privacy. The location was very convenient in that it was about 10K to Montalcino, 20K to Sienna and 50K to Florence. Many other areas of Tuscany were within a hour or two drive. The house was fantastic! Great views from every room and the 360 degree view from the pool was unbelievable. Everyone treated us wonderfully. The owner even called one night to check on us since she had heard there was a bad thunder storm in Tuscany! Hey the electricity even worked after the storm! I cannot say enough good things about the house. It had everything we needed from the kitchen to the bedroom! The fireplace in the kitchen was great for taking off the chill in the mornings while I waited for the espresso to brew. We have rented many times in the States and have never had anything quite this nice! Claudia the onsite person was very helpful and Zak from Tuscan House was patient with us as we threaded our way from place to place making the decision on what to rent! I highly recommend this house to anyone who wants to wake up in the morning, open the shutters and gaze upon Montalcino (Brunello in your dreams) from the bedroom window!
