1bed/1bath apartment near Campo dei Fiori, Rome

When

May 18th - May 25th, 2005, 8 Days

Location

The location was the best part of the apartment. It is in Campo dei Fiori right behind the square above Costanza Restaurant. It is close to everything in Rome. We walked to every location and never took a cab. The area was so much fun with the cafes, the market and restaurants right next to you.

Nearby Amenities

The nearest restaurant was right below the apartment. Everything you needed was a step away.

The House/Apartment

The building was in very good shape. The apartment was quiet given its location. The only noise you heard were the church bells playing in the morning. I think there were 5 other apartments in the building.

Garden

There was not an outside garden or terrace.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

The apartment was spotless and the furniture was very nice and comfortable. There was everything you could possibly need.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

The bathroom was very nicely done. Lot's of hot water. The bed was very comfortable and had nice linens.

Kitchen

The kitchen was small but adorable. We did not cook but it appeared to have everything you would need. There was some coffee and other staples in the pantry. It also had a dishwasher.

Problems or Bonuses

So many great surprises. The owners had a bottle of wine with two glasses and a welcome note waiting for us. It was also nice that they had two robes for the quests. When we asked about where to buy tickets for the Sunday soccer game the owner was gracious enough to purchase them for us the next day.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

I never spoke with Sleep in Italy but they were responsive by e-mail. The website was accurate about location and the pictures they posted of the apartment were accurate.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

I would recommend this apartment to anyone - we had a wonderful trip. The apartment is very charming, is in the perfect location and the owners are fantastic! I would definitely stay here again.

Things to do in this area

It is in the middle of everything. We enjoyed Bar Campo dei Fiori, Josephine's bakery and Buffeta Pizzeria all within a couple of feet from the apartment.
