Review 1655: Rentvillas, Orchidea

Review by Fritz Hausmann from WI

villa sleeps 12, Tuscany Chianti

May 2005, 2 weeks

Beautiful estate in the country, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. Quiet yet close to scenic towns and villages. Accommodations met or exceeded everyone's expectations -- tough for a group of 12. Would definitely return, great base to see anywhere in Tuscany!

Nearby Amenities

Too far to walk but easy and pleasant trip to shops - grocery's; fantastic restaurant just 6 miles from villa -- one of the best in all of Tuscany and no tourists!

The House/Apartment

Estate was beautifully furnished with art and antiques, in excellent condition and clean; villa has its own chapel, rooms were huge, open and all with great views -- plumbing very reliable and nice.

Great view from outside verada -- eating area over looking pool and olive groves.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

All furnishings in good repair and tasteful.

Bedrooms were huge, open, airey and comfortable.

Kitchen though a bit dark was again large with 6 burner gourmet stove.

Problems or Bonuses

All surprises good -- site manager a gem.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

Rentvillas very helpful in finding villa for such a large group.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

Would not only recommend, would go back again, no hesitation.
