Location

Set in beautiful gardens close to many hilltop towns, Le Manzinaie is perfect for touring the area or enjoying the peaceful Tuscan countryside.

Nearby Amenities

Shopping and restaurant 2 minutes by car, with a choice of shopping and dining in Montepulciano.

The House/Apartment

A beautifully decorated apartment with lots of extras. One of 4 apartments in a covnerted farm. Owners apartment on site so help and advice always at hand if needed.

Garden

Extensive gardens with lovley, well maintained pool and a number of seating areas where you can always find privacy. Fruit and vegetables grown in the garden were free to holiday makers.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

Very well appointed and immaculate. Decor included some nice artwork by our hostess and furnishings of a good quality.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

The canopy bed in Le Glicine was comfortable, and the bedroom nicely laid out. The bathroom was large with a jacuzzi bath tub and separate shower. Again, very tastefully finished in Tuscan style.

Kitchen

We enjoyed self catering and found all the equipment we needed, unlike previous self catering experiences. Even kitchen roll and napkins were provided.

Problems or Bonuses

Arrived to an unexpected welcome pack with wine, bread, cheese, milk, and jam so we didn't have to rush off to shop for breakfast. Home grown tomaotes made a lovely sauce for pasta. And the complimentary weekly dinner for guests prepared by the family was a real treat and an introduction to tastes of Tuscany.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

Absolutely recommend to anyone visiting this region - and we will be back.

Things to do in this area

Siena, Orvieto, and lots of small towns by the Lago all worth a visit for the views and architecture alone.
