studio apartment in Monti, Rome WhenSeptember 2005, 3 nights ReviewWe thoroughly enjoyed this little apartment in Rome and plan to stay there again. It was squeaky clean, had all the amenities we needed and was in a great location just a few meters from the Cavor subway stop. Natalia's skill with a paintbrush is evident in the trompe l'oeil. Great paintings. The apartment was very quiet too thanks to good windows and a quiet courtyard. Walter and Natalia are wonderful people. They provided great advice on places to eat (we ate in the neighborhood every night and enjoyed every meal) and even left a cell phone in the apartment for our use. They also arranged for a car to take us to the airport. Natalia was kind enough to offer to take me shopping for a cashmere overcoat but we just never had time. My only regrets? I never actually met Natalia as Walter let us in to the apartment, and we only stayed three nights. All in all, great accommodations offered by wonderful people. What more could one want?
