1bed/1bath apartment in Pisa, Tuscany West 
WhenOctober 24 - 28, 2005, 4 nights LocationJust outside the city walls of Pisa - very convenient for the major tourist attractions. Nearby AmenitiesThe nearest supermarket was just around the corner - numerous bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. The House/ApartmentThe apartment was neat and clean, with all essential appliances, along with some essentials (tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil, etc). It was on the upper floor of a two storey building. GardenIt has a small balcony overlooking a small courtyard. The Leaning Tower was visible from the bedroom window. Bedrooms/BathroomsThe apartment had two rooms plus a bathroom. The bedroom also had chairs and coffee table. The kitchen/living room had a sofa bed, which would be needed if four people stayed in the apartment. KitchenThere were plenty of pots, pans, etc. - and we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. Problems or BonusesNo surprises - the site shows photographs of the apartment. The bonus was being picked up and returned to the airport by the owners. Agency and Representatives (and price)We booked directly with the owners, by email. They speak English. All arrangements were very efficient and the price was good value. Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?Yes, we would stay there again, and be happy to recommend it to others. Things to do in this areaWe were fortunate with the weather, and just spent most of our time wandering around the city, exploring hidden squares, walking by the river and sitting in the sunshine. We visited Florence by train - and were glad we chosen to stay in the more relaxed atmosphere of Pisa. This review is the opinion of a Slow Travel member and not of slowtrav.com. |
